Bruce Mau, designer of the Massive Change exhibition and a few other extremely large books, is supposedly making a move to Chicago. Lynn Becker (writer in the Reader and Metropolis) has an interesting take on what Mau might expect from the city that welcomed his broad visioned future show: "If Mau is expecting the type of fawning he received here to continue in perpetuity, he'll be in for rude awakening. Chicago, ultimately, is a tough town, with an allergy for puffery no matter how well intentioned."
