With the new Leopard OS and Gmail allowing SMTP, I'm trying to get back in the swing of using the Apple Mail desktop client and good ol' address book to keep things more organized. Gmail has been acting kind of strange lately with a lot of delay and sometimes completely stalling out when sending a message.

There are a few things I will miss about the web Gmail interface, but the number one thing I would have a hard time living without are the "conversations" view when following threads of an email topic. Well I found that Apple Mail has actually had threaded views for a long time, they're just a little hidden. It isn't quite as nice as Gmail's version, but the rest of Mail makes up for it.
